Neutral Look With Purple Lips

Good afternoon!

For those of you that follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you will have seen my post with this look ....
Ooooh Purple... :-)

I've had this purple lipstick in my stash for a little while now and had not tried it out, because I simply did not know what look I could wear it with....then I tried it for the first time last night and fell in love with it instantly.

If you do not follow me on social media, then you should go do it now! Hehe!

The colour is called Liberty Matte. It is a gorgeous, cool toned purple, meaning it will flatter nearly every skin tone.

Now on with the tutorial! You've already seen my do my contour and highlight, so I have cheated a little bit today, however, if you want to see a more in depth contour tutorial, just leave me some lovely comments and let me know!!

I have done an eyebrow tutorial too, which you can find here.

Today, I am using the Makeup Revolution Ultra Palette in Beyond Flawless.

Its gorgeous palette, full of neutral shimmery shades, and a few matte shades too.

The Brushes...

I started this look using the shade, Brunette on the outer corner of the eye and blended it into the crease using the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush on the outer corner and Naked 2 fluffy brush in the crease.

I then used the shade, Spice all over the lid using a sponge applicator to prevent fall out.

At this stage, I felt that this colour was too pink and wanted to make it more neutral, so I added the shade, Autumn all over the pink shade, again with a sponge applicator.

I have also added the colour,Flawless to the inner corner and brow bone to highlight this area using the Vintage Costmetics Eyeshadow Brush. Using the BH Cosmetics Blending Brush, I blended the whole look together to give a flawless finish.

Then using BH Cosmetics Gel Liner in Black and the Real Techniques Eyeliner Brush, I added the winged liner. I have done a longer wing to what I normally do to glam this look up a little bit.

Curl your lashes and add some mascara and falsies...I used the Ardell Wispies and L'oreal Telescopic mascara in Extra Black.

To add the false lashes, I used this little gem....
Ah-mazing

I don't know how many tubes of this stuff I have used, but I have not found another product that even slightly compares to it's awesomeness!! The glue goes on grey, and then dried black, it's fantastic!!

Lashes added, glue still wet...

Now for the fun part! PURPLE LIPS!!

Oh my goodness, I am in love with this lipstick....
Excuse the eyeliner on my finger..mucky moment!
Just too gorgeous for words!

I do not have a lipliner to match this lipstick (YET!) so I used a small brush to to create the outline and fill in the lip.

The pigmentation on this lipstick in incredible. One swipe is enough for full coverage.

And here's the finished look:
Finished!

I LOVE IT!!!! It's such a gorgeous colour, and definitely not a colour I ever thought I would wear, but it's safe to say my mind has firmly been changed!

If you loved this look, or there's a colour that you have your eye on but aren't sure how wear it, pop me a message or leave a comment and I will do my best to create a gorgeous look with your chosen colour.

Thank you for reading this, I love to hear your feedback :-)

Until next time,

Kimmy
